During the world soccer championships we started a special competition in social media. Our marketing team has planned a few weeks before, how to reach more people for kick it with the help of a little campaign. We had a great price and hoped as well as a secondary action to allure more sponsors and partners.

The #kickitchallenge was born: Everyone was allowed to take part, juggle the ball and upload this video. We have been praying and already during the phase of planning, doors have been opened. We got cool sponsors for the prices, like FC Bayern Munich, HoWe, Ludwig&Therese and Krug-Bräu. On top of that we wanted a public person who is close to soccer and social and could help us to push the campaign. And even that came true: on a morning, Matze and Eva met Kathrin Müller-Hohenstein, presenter of the “Aktuelles Sportstudio” by ZDF television at the gym. She sent us her video with her call for people to join.

While we are waiting now, who is going to be the real Worl champion, the online competition is over. Touré, one of our soccer player won with over 800 kicks. And Alexa won the second price because of creativity. All over we had a clickrate of 3.383 and many comments. We are happy with the trend of our campaign.
